The Damascus Steel :
Our Damascus Steel is made of by forging 256 folded layers of 1095 Steel and 15N20 High and Low Carbon Steel. Blade has been given an excellent heat treatment to get it well hardened. Blade has hardness 58-60 HRC which holds the sharp edge for long time. It is forged in a specific way to achieve high hardness, beautiful & unique blade patterns. We have different patterns available in Damascus Steel like Twist, Ladder, Rain Drop, Straight, Flame, Mosaic, Cross, Star, Feather etc.
The Sheath :
Axe comes with 100% Genuine Fine Quality Extra Thick Bull Hide Utility Leather Sheath. The leather sheath is completely hand tooled and sewn. The sheath can be worn on belt.
Knife Care :
Damascus steel as well as 1075 high carbon steel knives are different than other steel knives, because of its high carbon content they can be rusted if not care properly. Never store knife for long time in sheath. Leather can absorb moisture which will rust the knife. Always clean the blade after using and apply oil/wax before storing it, for its longer life and durability.
